AirThread Tension Tumbler
Innovative in design. Unrivaled in performance. The Mobius AirThread Tension Tumbler has changed trimming forever. Unlike rival machines that use perforated stainless-steel drums that can be rough on product, hard to clean, and easily damaged, the patent-pending design of the AirThread Tension Tumbler makes it impervious to impact damage while gentle on flower. The AirThread Tension Tumbler is made from a single strand of aircraft grade stainless steel cable over 300-feet (91.5 meters) long, woven 90 times to form a 36-inch (91 cm) tube.
This unique and patent-pending design not only allows Mobius tumblers to be rust-proof, but also dent-proof, as they become flexible when removed. When locked into place, the AirThread Tension Tumbler becomes perfectly cylindrical, allowing for a very small distance between it and the blades which, in turn, allows for a close, consistent trim. Stainless-steel cable construction offers industry leading 0.25-inch (0.635 cm) gaps for maximum cutting blade access - more than 50% greater than traditional tumbler designs. This enables a faster trim time (product spends less time in the tumbler), less surface area to collect resin (reducing cleaning time and precious resin loss), and a closer trim.
AirThread Tumbler vs Punched Steel Tumbler
A perfectly circular tumbler is absolutely critical for tight and consistent trimming. Punched stainless-steel tumblers are often slightly oval or teardrop shaped due to the way they are rolled and welded into a cylinder. They can warp over time and get flat spots when bumped or dropped during removal and cleaning. s
To compensate, trimmers with punched steel tumblers allow cutting blades to be adjusted and ?dialed-in?. But this too is a problem as it introduces user error, and the blades need to be set for the furthest point of contact causing gaps along the tumbler's length.
The Mobius AirThread Tension Tumbler uses spring tension to maintain a perfectly cylindrical shape. The gap between the tumbler edge and cutting blades remains the same, offering a consistent, tight, top-quality trim. Blades never need adjustment so they are free from user error.

Integrated Separation System
With the Integrated Separation System, both the trim separator and vacuum are built directly into the body of the M108, vastly reducing the footprint required for trimming equipment. The Integrated Separation System has an entirely hose-less design. That means there are no hoses to clean or dispose of. By removing hoses from your trimming process, you remove one of the major obstacles to upholding GMP standards in your harvesting workflow.
Variable Function System
The Variable Function System gives users control to optimize their machine to suit any moisture condition, strain type, or end-product requirements. If you are trimming dry and want a gentler process, reduce the suction and tumbler speed. If you have a higher QC tolerance, raise the tilt and send product through faster. Being gentle onyour product is a function of minimizing the number of times it goes around the tumbler while touching it as little as possible. Flower should move through the trimmer efficiently with lots of blade access, cradled by a tumbler that has minimal surface area to block it or collect resin. The Mobius AirThread Tension Tumbler is made of stainless steel cable which means your flower has very little surface to touch and more access to blades than any rival trimmer. Resin stays on the flower where it belongs. To Operate
The M108S uses a variety of indicator lights and sensor technology to offer a safe and worry-free trimming experience. The system automatically shuts down if a panel is removed, the lid opens, the in-feed hopper or output chute are misaligned, or the trim-tote is full.
The tumbler chamber glows red to immediately indicate a fault status, blue to denote ready for trimming, and white when in operation.
